Rajamouli Director of Bahubali
Childhood : Rajamouli was born to the famous script writer Mr. K.V. Vijayendra Prasad who wrote stories for the famous movies like " Magadheera" " Samarasimha Reddy " " Gharana Bhullodu " " Janaki Ramudu" and Bobbili simham etc...

Rajamouli in a a TV Interview (Open heart with RK) revealed that he was not good at studies and with lot of hassle completed his intermediate (12th class).
He was obsessed with story tellings since his childhood as their house being the home of the story writer was always filled with huge collection of books including Mythology and Novels. He was famous to tell stories in his school during the leisure hours. Later he developed the skills of creating the stories then and there and sharing with friends.
When he completed his +2 course with lot of difficulties in 3 years, his father questioned him about his career which made him speechless and had no idea about what to do next. He was then asked to work in Film industry as assistant to couple of editors. He worked under Editors, rerecording, dubbing , Directors etc....
Rajamouli made it very clear that he unlike others never struggled to get opportunities as he was a kid of a story writer and had chances to work in all the departments of Industry due to his influence. He got a chance to work with the famous top telugu film director " K.Ragavendra Rao ".
Raghavendra Rao gave him opportunity to direct his telugu tv serial " Shanthi Nivasam" . Directing " Shanthi Nivasam " exposed his nature of working hard in post production. He was observed to be working for 15 to 20 hours in a day including the weekends with out holidays.
The Serial " Shanthi Nivasam" went on to be a big hit in the family of Audience of Andhra Pradesh. Under the guidance of the same biggie " Raghavenra rao " , Rajamouli got a chance to direct his first silver screen movie " Student No.1 " starring Junior NTR .
This movie went on to be a first big hit for both Rajamouli and the star actor " Junior NTR". The DUO went on to work on their second consecutive project " Simhadri" the movie based on Andhra /kerala back ground. The movie has immense Mass appeal and the image of NTR family added spice to it. This movie went on to be a biggest hit in the history of Telugu cinema and broke the records of box office collections.
This movie made the junior NTR a big star in the Telugu movie world and took him to the top position in a very young age of less than 25.
Thus , Rajamoulie became the star director with his second project itself. The Genius director this time thought of making a different movie with out involving any routine subjects.
He selected the game " RUGBY" and made the script to rotate around this game with high tendency villainism. This was the first time in the Indian cinema which was made around the game " Rugy". The movie was named " SYE" and the young star " Nithin" was picked for the lead role.
The charm of Nithin and Jenelia Dsouza pair and the Baddie " Pradeep Rawat " who played the negative role " Bikshu yadav" added weight to the movie. The Villain name " BIKSHU YADAV" is so famous even today and the pradeep rawat is still called with this name in telugu states like Amrish puri called as " Mughambo" in the north.
His fourth project was unexpected " refugee" life story who went on to become a leader of the masses. "
CHATRAPATHI" was the title of the movie which made the actor " PRABHAS" one of the young upcoming heroes of Tollywood and Macho man of the telugu cinema.
The movie showed the suffering of the Srilankan Refugees who were exploited by the local political leader and it simultaneously had immense mother sentiment which touched the hearts of the audience.
Then Rajamouli worked with Junior NTR for the third time and made a socio Fantasy flick based on " Yamlok" THE HELL and since the grand father of the actor " Senior NTR " acted in a famous socio fantasy movie based on Yamlok in which he troubles the Lord of Yamlok " Yama" .
The movie did well at the box office impressing the audience with the dialogue delivery of junior NTR.
Then the time arrived for Megastar Chiranjeevi to make his kid " Ram charan Tej" a super star. He offered Rajamouli to make a movie with his kid and give him a block buster. Rajamouli accepted the big responsibility and opted a kind of socio fantasy involving a Love story with rebirth concept.
The movie named " MAGHADHEERA" is based on the love story of a soldier and a queen in one of the north indian kingdom and the attack of the muslim invader. The movie relates the current times with those days involving a beautiful love story in which the Love birds take a re birth and become succesfull in their later life.
The Movie " maghadheera" broke all the Telugu movie box office records and ran for almost 6 months. The Movie was dubbed in various Indian languages and impressed the audience of every language it was dubbed in. This movie made the director " Rajamouli" the top 1 director in Telugu cinema and put him as one of the top five directors of the Indian cinema.
Since the entire filmy world was concentrating on this man as what would be his next project, he opted to make a small movie with a comedian. This shocked the entire Film world as with the consecutive hits and the biggest hit of Magadheera made him the top director and the production houses were ready to offer him the glistering amount which was never offered to any telugu director.
Surprisingly he opted to make a movie with Sunil and named it " Maryadha Ramanna" , the movie was based on the Faction oriented story where in an offspring of a Murdered family is the only enemy left over for the villain baddies and they bring him to the village in the name of property selling.
This innocent offspring with no knowledge of his parents and their enemity with the villains steps in the house and in no time realizes the truth that they gonna kill him once he steps out of his house.
The movie is filled with Innocent drama of the lead actor and the comedy surrounding it. The movie with not so much budget went on to be a big hit and collected a handsome amount which was equal to the grosser of any Big super star movie.
MAGADHEERA CONTROVERSY OF RAJAMOULI WITH PRODUCER AND ACTOR
There were rumors that the Producer " Allu Arvind" (Uncle of Ram charan) and Actor Ram charan didn't give much credit to the director and publicized the movie success as a result of Ram charan. First time the director felt that the lead actor was getting huge publicity and also the rumors surrounding that the movie was big hit due to the charishma of Ram charan as son of the Mega star Chiranjeevi.
This did hurt Rajamouli and it is said to be that he mentioned infront of many filmie personnel that he can make a movie even with a DOG and make it a big hit and do not need a star actor.
As a result of this or in order to reach the next level in terms of technical values, the director this time has chosen to work on a subject related to a housefly taking revenge on a man.
This movie was named " Eega". The Fly taking revenge on the villain with great technical values had attracted the audience of all the ages. The heart touching music with a failure love story of a man taking rebirth as a house fly and attacking the villain involves the thrilling scenes.
This movie was dubbed in 4 different languages and this was shot simultaneously in Tamil as " Naanee" The movie " Eega" was filmed at various film festivals and was awarded with top notch awards in Indian cinema world.
All is well so far, now the Master mind has decided to make an Epic movie in the History of Indian Cinema with huge settings and glistering budget.
and that is why we are being part of this movie festival called " BAHUBALI".
This movie is being shot in two parts and the first part is likely to be released on July 10 as announced by the director.
The movie is reported to be made of the budget of around 220 crores and is the first movie to be made of with the budget crossing Rs.100 cr. The Satellite rights of this movie including both the parts were sold for Rs.25 crores to Maa TV. This is the highest amount for a Telugu cinema rights to be sold of ever. The Movie " Bahubali" features " Prabhas " Anushka, Nasser, Ramya Krishna , Raana, Adivi Sesh , Kannada star Sudeep , Satya Raj etc. The movie includes the great technicians like Sabu Cyril for Art direction, Srinivas mohan as VFX supervisor. The movie has not been completed and released but still made it the top searches on Google india and appeared as one of the movies in the top 100 Indian cinema history documentary of BBC recently.

Prabhas The Tollywood actor who played lead role in BAHUBALI Movie is a well known south Indian ( Telugu ) lead actor who is highly admired for his massive looks and greek god type of physique.Bahubali Prabhas height : 6.2 inches.
Full name of Prabhas is " Uppala pati Prabhas Raju" and he belongs to the Kshatriya (warrior) community of Andhra Pradesh region which is famously called "Rajus".
Prabhas Family : He was born to Uppalapati Suryanarayana Raju and Siva Kumari. His father Suryanarayana Raju is the younger brother of the yesteryear Telugu lead actor " Krishnam Raju" who is famously called as " rebel star".
Prabhas is youngest son of his parents and he has a brother Prabodh raju and Sister Pragathi. His family hails from the village " Mogalturu" in Andhra pradesh from which the other top star of Telugu cinema " Chiranjeevi" belongs to.
The family later moved to the city Bhimavaram in West godavari dist of Andhra pradesh. Prabhas was born on 23-10-1979 in Chennai city of Tamil nadu state.
Prabhas started his career as a lead actor in the movie " Eashwar" which was directed by " Jayanth C paranji" who was one of the best directors of telugu cinema in those days. Prabhas played the role of a mother less Slum boy who falls in love with the local sound politician and business man's daughter. The Movie got mixed reviews and played well at the box office.
Many veterans were impressed with his acting skills and gifted height and physique and he became talk of the town and was regarded as a best successor of his uncle Krishnam Raju.

The noted Telugu Producer " MS.Raju " picked him for the love story " Varsham" which revolves around the rain back drop and this one went on to be a biggest hit in the career of Prabhas. Since this movie was released during Sankranti ( Pongal) is considered as Film festival time in Andhra pradesh where big stars compete with each other to release movies and get big hits) and received success , Prabhas Raju became a popular star over night.
Varsham was a prestigious project as it had the highly entertaining music by Devi sri Prasad ( The Dinkachika Salman khan song fame ) and the actress Trisha who was very popular among youth in south India. The movie Varsham bagged two Nandi awards , one for the song " Nuvvostanante " ( it was the best song of the year).
The movie Varsham collected 18 crores at the box office which was a high amount for a young star and that added spice to his career.
Then the movie Adavi Ramudu followed by Krishna vamshi's Chakram went disaster as they had old stories and poor script work. These two movies questioned the survival of Prabhas as actor as his uncle was a yesteryear super star but at that time none of them were there in Industry from family to support him. The stores which didn't suit him well and the poor direction skills made his career to tilt downwards.
PRABHAS CAREER TURNING POINT : That is when Prabhas was spotted by the Master mind Rajamoulie. Rajamoulie picked him for the lead role in the movie " CHATRAPATHI" . This movie was all about Srilankan refugees living in the Andhra coast camps run by a local Bihari Goonda who is supported by the locally hailed minister.
The deadly looking villains , Wholly new stunts ( The fights at the beach / The fight in the ocean with whale) were huge hits and stood as trend setters in Indian cinema.

followed by the huge mother sentiment in the second half made the movie to be one of the Block Buster of the Telugu film industry and Prabhas turned super star over night from a normal youth ful actor.
Chatrapathi collected huge amount in both US (south Indian viewers) and also in US breaking the old records of the Telugu cinema. The ultimate Macho looks and the concept of Refugee being crushed under the Labor exploiters who finally kicks the bad assess and turns the don of the local fisher men and other coastal labor areas.
This concept attracted huge Mass audience and ran for more than 150 days in theaters. Chatrapathi is still one of the best movies to be played on weekends and get high TRP on TV channels. As usual, Chatrapathi too was followed by three consecutive disasters " Pournami" , Yogi and Munna ".
The three flicks were of different concepts and were not bad but however these could not match with the expectations of the audience which were developed after a huge hit like Chatrapathi. Prabhas was expected to act in an action movie with bigger concept and better scripts but all the movies didnt match the machoism of Prabhas.
The movie " Bujjigadu" directed by the Puri Jagannadh (budda hoga tera baap fame) was an average grosser which gave a little relief in his career. The dialogues in the movie with his Coastal Andhra accent mixed with Chennai one was hillarious and one of the usage in the film " Darling" referring other characters by him went on to be big hit in the society and his fans are famously called " Prabhas Darlings" and not Fans. The movies Ek Niranjan too didn't do well on Box office and this too was directed by Puri. However the Movie " Billa" which was inspired the movie " DON" was an average grosser but showed the richness and was up to the machoism of the actor.

This movie was heart touching family movie filled emotions and love. This collected too well at the box office showing his capacity of pulling both mass and multiplex audience. This movie was huge hit in multiplex. The last hit of Prabhas ( to be honest he could not do many movies since 2013 due to Huge monster film Bahubali) Mirchi was directed by Shiva Koratala. The Movie MIRCHI was also a biggest hit collecting 50 crores and helped the director to get a chance to work with Tollywood super star " Mahesh babu".
Rajamouli after the sensational movie " Eega" ( Makki in hindi which is all about an housefly taking revenge) decided to go for a further high budget movie and decided start one of his dream projects " Bahubali". Rajamouli picked Prabhas as the lead actor and this movie is based on two cousins who fight for the kingdoms. This movie takes you to the heights of the Indian cinema and also regarded as the best flick to match Prabhas Machoism. Bahubali is all set to get released on July 10 and it has already created heat waves in this rainy season.
